Podcasts are fast becoming the preferred storytelling medium and cultural source as they can be enjoyed pretty much anywhere. Commuters enjoy them to escape the boredom of travel, people enjoy unwinding in the bath with a podcast playing or they can be used as background noise. The beauty of podcasts is that there is one for everyone, and with the ongoing global pandemic, podcasts have become a way to fill the gap that traditional bigger news and entertainment productions haven’t been able to fill due to in-person restrictions.

There has been a proliferation of feminist podcasts over the past few years, covering topics that range in political to personal, from funny, to serious, and anything in between. Public figures, well-known authors, media personalities, comedians and more are turning to podcasts to share many different views and experiences around feminism, underscoring how intersectional the movement has become today.

If you’re looking for a good starting list to add to your queue, take a look at the 9 feminist podcasts below and subscribe immediately!
