Slot Hosts – Active on the casino floor, they work directly with customers and are part of sales and marketing. Duties include greeting players, issuing comps and knowledgeable of promotional campaigns. A high school or GED equivalent is required with good communication skills. Salary begins in low 20K per year.

Casino Security – observes casino floor and employees in an observation room with access to audio and video surveillance. Must be trained to look for irregular play and theft. This position does not require a college degree, however, some experience in security, casino operations and camera equipment is helpful.

Corporate Positions

Pit Supervisors – not particularly popular with the players at the tables, when they are booted for being a bit too lucky. This position requires a keen eye on the tables which can be a pressurized job. Responsible for watching for cheating, card counters and any kind of foul play by the customer or the dealer is the main requirement. This position requires experience and has an upward salary of $75k.

Casino Manager – this position is reaching the pinnacle of success. Responsibilities include staying within government regulations, make certain modifications to improve house edge, oversee floor personnel and handle customer complaints. Years of administrative experience is preferred for this job that pays 6 figures a year.
